Fresh Air. All bar and restaurant employees deserve to breathe smoke-free air.

Minnesota’s existing smoke-free laws don't protect many bar and restaurant workers. Yet people working in offices are protected from harmful secondhand smoke. Do they really deserve a smoke-free environment more than YOU?

All workers in Minnesota – regardless of their place of employment – should be protected from secondhand smoke.

That’s why we’ve created Fresh Air, a statewide grassroots coalition of groups and individuals who support eliminating secondhand smoke dangers in all workplaces, including restaurants and bars.

Hospitality workers and patrons have an important voice on this issue. That's why we need you to get involved and remind others that you deserve protections from secondhand smoke in bars and restaurants. By signing up to be a member of Fresh Air, you will receive up-to-date information on how to get involved in making all workplaces in Minnesota smoke-free.

What Can You Do?
Urge the gubernatorial candidates - Mike Hatch, Peter Hutchinson and Tim Pawlenty - to sign a comprehensive bill to make Minnesota bars and restaurants smoke-free if they win the election on Nov. 7.
Tell us why you support a smoke-free workplace.
Urge other bar and restaurant employees to show their support.
