Peter Riemenschneider
Principal
Peter Riemenschneider has thirteen years of experience consulting on electronic communications projects with a focus on user experience design, information architecture and the development of interactive media, e-newsletters and Web sites.
Peter has built corporate sites for businesses and non-profits, online communities for grassroots advocacy organizations and Section 508 accessibility enhanced sites for higher education and the government.
In addition to part-time consulting, Peter currently works for the University of Minnesota, as the electronic communications manager for the Institute of Technology, the college of engineering, math and physical sciences. In 2000 Peter led the redesign of the University of Minnesota Web site, developing a system of Web templates and design and code standards for all colleges, departments and units within the University.
Before coming to the University, Peter worked for Saint Paul-based Concept Group, a marketing communications agency, as an interactive developer. Peter spent part of his career in Chicago as an information architect for Organic Inc, an online professional services firm. There he worked on high profile projects for Daimler Chrysler, FTD.com and Bell Canada. After Organic, Peter led the information architecture practice at Buzzbait Inc., a Web boutique specializing on online promotions for clients such as AT&T, eBay Motors and United Airlines.
An avid restorer of Nintendo arcade machines, Peter lives in Saint Paul with his wife and two children.
